ACME OYSTER CHALLENGE FROM MAN V FOOD!!

First I would like to say Hey everybody! Now This is Randy Santel, "Atlas" with Atlas & Zeus Promotions. I has been wanting do it forever! Ever since watching it on Man v Food season 1. I'm in Covington, Louisiana, just north of New Orleans at Acme Oyster House, taking on their 15-dozen oyster challenge! I've got one hour to finish all 15 dozen oysters.  If I do finish I'll get them all 1/2 price, a free shirt, hat, and be up on their Wall of Fame! Ok now let’s get this thing started! This is my first oyster challenge ever! There is a part two to this, if I'm able to become the leader and set the record at this location, I'll be able to get them all free! I just have to eat 16 dozen because nobody has ever eaten more than the required 15 dozen in order to get them 1/2priced. We've got one hour.  One, two, three! Time is started.  I'm going to enjoy these, I'm not going to speed eat them, so let’s get it started!0:52 - first dozen down! I've only had them a few times in my life, definitely not this many, so let’s keep it going! To the point of 1/3 of the way through, not even 4:30 in, let’s keep up the pace. 2/3 done! This is not a low sodium challenge, but it is awesome! I love these things! Five dozen more! Let’s get them down! 15:00 - I think I'm going to basically eat these 5 dozen.  Once I eat this top one I basically set the record and I get them all free, so we're going to do this one first, then make our way down and stop at 20 because nobody at this location has eaten over 15 yet, so I don't want to kill the record.  Let’s get these down! Now I have set the record.  I get all the oysters free and now I'm going to add this activity on to the record by finishing these! 19:16 - just completed with these 20 dozen oysters here at ACME Oyster House in Covington, Louisiana. Excellent! Even the last one was just as good the first! Now in order for someone to become the leader, they need to eat 21 dozen. FYI there is a 18% tip for the suckers because they had to do a lot of work to do all these oysters.
