5 MOST MYSTERIOUS PHOTOS FROM MASS

Often time’s people have a trend to see patterns where there aren't any.  However, what most people don't notice is that apothecia, or the human tendency to assign meaningful patterns to otherwise random data, is closely linked to an imminent onset of schizophrenia. This human predilection can be found with this disturbing picture of the Mars face, this photograph of the Martian trees, as well as this photograph of alleged ruins of an ancient civilization on the side of a Martian cliff.  Every time strange and unexplained photos are captured by our rovers and probes, officials are always quick to pull them out. By the way, others, however, remain certain that there is more out there in our solar system than what we've been told.  And surely they can't all be schizophrenic. The truth is no one really knows what lies beyond our planet.  And most of the Martian wilderness still is yet to be explored. Either way, some photos of Mars simply cannot be explained away.  These are the five most mysterious photos from Mars.  Number five is the mystery light.  Captured by the NASA Curiosity rover this strange photograph was transmitted back to Earth after Curiosity's 589th consecutive day on the surface of Mars.  Despite the many conspiracy theories surrounding this photograph, no one really knows the source of this unknown beam of light.  What makes the beam of light more unnerving is that it appeared only in the right camera of the Curiosity rover and was not present in the image taken a fraction of a second later in the rover's left camera.  The only explanation NASA scientists could offer is that the beam of light was just glare from a rock or a cosmic ray striking the rover's camera.  These explanations, however, do not explain the fact that the same light was also present in a photograph captured by the rover just hours beforehand.  Number four is the monolith.  In 2012, after looking over photographs of the Martian surface, amateur astronomers noticed this strange object looming over the landscape.  This strange square shaped object was captured by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiters it passed over Mars' surface. These photos are uncanny because the object that we can see is almost a perfect square, and it appears to even be an artificial creation.  Some estimate that the Martian monolith is approximately five meters in diameter.  Not everyone has dismissed this picture as just a conspiracy theory.  As the famous astronaut Buzz Aldrineven  encouraged NASA start to do an investigation sightings of a similar monolith on the Martian moon of Photos.  For now though, no one knows the origin of this strange artificial structure. Number three is the blotch.  Following a 350 million mile, 253 day long journey, NASA's Curiosity rover was lowered onto the surface of Mars from its landing module, that was the place where it would then snap this unusual photo with its rear navigation camera only seconds after landing.  The camera shutter on the Curiosity rover had only been operational for 200 milliseconds before it captured this fuzzy photo that shows a mysterious blotch on the horizon.  After two hours had passed, the rover relayed high resolution photographs to awaiting satellite orbiting Mars. By the time these higher resolution photos were transmitted, the blotch had disappeared.  The photo only led to wild speculation that the blotch was an incomprehensible alien intelligence watching the rover.  Called a statistical stated that it’s impossibility, the photo is now thought to capture the moment Curiosity's lander crashed into the Marian surface.  But the truth is still true is there is no definitive explanation for this vanishing blotch.  And number two is the caves of Mars.  Recent flybys of Mars with state of the art cameras have only captured stranger photos than ever before. One of these strange photographs is this massive cavern that was spotted inside of a crater on the surface of Mars.  Other dark holes have been spotted on Mars in the past, and so far none of them have been explored. These caverns are larger than any on Earth and they are thought to be the remnants of lava tunnels that once stretched across the surface of Mars.  The question remains, however, how deep do these strange caverns go and what is inside of them? Scientists have commented that due to the inhospitable conditions of the Martian surface these caverns could possibly harbor primitive forms of life or even human settlements in the future.  But until these dark caverns are investigated, we will never know.  And number one is the Martian. The resemblance between this creature and humans is almost unnerving.  Some claim this photo shows a bipedal extraterrestrial standing over the surface of Mars. Others however, say that this photograph means nothing and is just our mind trying to assign a shape to otherwise meaningless rock formation son the surface of Mars.
